I gravitate towards design research, craft, and all methods of exercising curiosity within the world. I am studying Interaction Design at the University of Washington and am expected to graduate in 2021. I also received an Associates Degree in Visual Communications from Highline College in 2018.
I am a member of a research group led by Assistant Professor Audrey Desjardins, Ph.D. We are exploring IoT domestic data in homes. Topics include current usage of data and imagining new opportunities for data in the home.
I also started my own jewelry business in 2018. My materials include found wood, resin, and ink. My work emphasizes the subtle nature of moments and the joy in imagination.
Seattle is home but I have also lived in San Francisco, Oakland, Southern California, Austin (Texas), Portland (Oregon), and Bloomington (Indiana). I enjoy skateboarding, learning new crafts, whimsical and weird things, cats, gardening, and keeping my hands and mind busy.
